We had a good breakfast, its not looking like it will be 'real' Mexican food. =) Took a tour of the ranch, saw the classrooms we'll be working on. The kids, apperantly, LOVE.... FOOSBALL! =D They have some pretty good taste... Lunch was awesome! Played some b-ball with Jeremiah, went swimming (<-- REALLY good idea! You go in melting... and come out literally complaining about the cold!!! :) Learned I'm older than Kelli! : p

Luke Everett preached about how we need to believe like children, they are;
#1 Unashamed to ask tough questions (many of the kids have asked their parents if they know Jesus Christ  as their Lord and Saviour!)
#2 To Understand and Accept that they need help, especially from a parent, and how God is like our parent.

Jeremiah makes me think of Jonathan A. ;)

September 1st, 2012

First. Time. FLYING! It wasn't as amazing as I had hoped. But it was fun, all our flights went well, I didn't get sick, and we are all safely to RSM (Rancho Sordo Mudo). The drive down was interesting, had a little trouble finding dinner... but finally got to In'n'Out burgers :)  Had lots of good times =) Met Jeremiah, 13, and Kelli, 16.

Mexico....

WOW. Its been a LOOOOOOOONG time since I last posted. I am going to try to post more often, and to start out, I've decided that I'm going to post my journal entries from our trip to Rancho Sordo Mudo. I will post them one per day for 8 days, and then I'll post an overview of my  trip.

Basketball Monday night. . .

Tonight there is basketball games at the Rolla High School, with JV boys & V girls playing at 6:45, and then the JV girls & the V boys playing at 8:00. Hopefully if you come, you'll see some good games! :)
